Married for 20 years and working together at Baker for more than a decade, John and Karen have created a rewarding life for themselves, despite their individual challenges. From their annual two-week trip to the Jersey shore each summer to breakfast every weekend at a favorite spot, they continue to enjoy spending all of their time together.
At Baker, both love sharing movie recommendations in our morning huddle and singing along with the radio as they perform their daily work at our Malvern production site.
Karen sees Baker as “a place of consistency and fairness,” while John appreciates being treated as an individual. Both are known for their flexibility, performing many different jobs for our customers. Working at Baker helps them maintain independence and a sense of purpose. “We love our jobs!” says John. And Karen adds, “Baker is more than a job, it’s family!”
