Matt had been out of the workforce for quite some time, managing health and family matters. He wanted to get back to work, but worried about having the flexibility and support needed for a successful transition. A local pastor recommended Baker Industries. “Baker is different form any place I can think of,” says Matt. “It provides steady work, a good environment and lots of support. You can feel the kindness all through the organization.” Matt recently started a new position at Wawa, making a living wage. He also got engaged and is planning a wedding!
