Baker Industries is unique in that it neither solicits nor accepts any government funding. We are not a sheltered workshop.
Earning Our Way
Approximately 75% of our funding comes from the work we do. Baker earns this money—through folding, stuffing,
sorting, labeling, collating, packaging, fulfillment, assembly, fugitive gluing, box forming and many other forms
of assembly work and temporary services.
The rest of our funding comes from:
Free to Be Flexible
Our method of funding gives us a level of independence that government-funded work rehabilitation programs do not
enjoy. We are free to modify our work strategies in the way that best suits our customers--and our workers. This
independence allows a more energetic response to changing conditions in our market.
